The Ring of Steel, its members, and its Maestro are prepared to offer the following services:

Performances- as a repertory theater, we have a number of comedic shows available for performance which can be tailored to fit any theme, from pirates to Star Wars to wild west. We also perform as stunt doubles, for weddings, at birthday parties, for boy scout meetings, in haunted houses, for corporate events, at concerts, in movies, and anywhere where action is in demand. Joining our repertoir are a number of fire implements including poi, staff, and sword. We frequently create customs shows for events, so contact us with your ideas and we will work to create a show for you!

Training- instruction in stage fighting or stunt work as needed for theatrical productions and movies. Frequently includes choreography.

Choreography- creation of safe and effective fights. Maestro Barbeau and Ring's advanced members are trained to identify safety risks in the performance of stage fighting, and they bring with them a repertoire of eye-catching moves to make the audience gasp.

Stunt Coordination- direction, training, choreography, and execution (when necessary) of fights and stunt for film.

Fly Rigging- The Ring posseses thousands of feet of rope, dozens of human-rated pulleys, a number of professional fly harnesses, and all the hardware needed to add flying to your theater production. Venues we have flown in include local high schools up through the Fox Theater in Detroit, MI.

Lecture Demonstrations- popular at libraries, school assemblies, boy scout meetings, and wherever education with flair is desired. Maestro Barbeau teaches the audience about the history of theatrical combat and the techniques that keep performers safe while Ring of Steel members demonstrate fights using various weapons. Frequently includes a weapons display.

Weapons display- the Ring packs up a small sample of its arsenal and puts it on display for the public to hold and to handle. Members man the display, answering questions about the weapons and their use while monitoring the observers for safety. No sharp objects are displayed for safety reasons. We also bring a selection fo armor for the audience to try on, including the ever-popular 25 pound chain mail shirt made by our very own Maestro.

Weapons rental- Much of Ring's arsenal is available for rental. Available weapons include rapiers, daggers, knives, broadswords, shields, period weapons, muskets, revolvers, spears, and many, many more. We ship to anywhere in the United States. Other- Makeup FX, airbrush makeup, atmospheric FX, gun safety and handling training, academic lectures (w/o demonstration), fog machine rental, pyrotechnics, equipment rental, second unit direction
